One of the FOSAS/SSP graduates from the year 2005 (Clarendon High School for Girls, EL) will be interviewed on SAFM this afternoon (1st June 2010) at 13:30 about a writing project that she has been a part of called The First Time, a blog targeted at young women.

This is the same student who received the prestigious Mandela/Rhodes Scholarship for her Masters Studies this year at Rhodes University.

Athambile was the alumni guest speaker at this year’s SSPEC Graduation ceremony that was held at Selborne College. Her address was themed “To whom much is given, much is required”. The talk was inspirational, as well as it was interesting and factual. Athambile has also been generous with her time and has managed to consistently volunteer at SSP activities, especially student recruitment and the annual graduation.
