On 21 January 2012, the Student Sponsorship Programme celebrated the hard work of current SSP scholars and bid farewell to the matric class of 2011 with SSP staff, parents, sponsors, mentors, and a trustee in attendance at St. John’s College.
27.10.11 Alumnus shines at Skidmore
After being granted the SSP scholarship, Johannes Matake was placed at the American International School of Johannesburg. Joe, as he is now known to his American friends, hails from the township of Alexander where he stayed with his grandmother. When he matriculated earlier this year, he was offered yet another full scholarship. This time to an American college called Skidmore.
